Thanks for visiting Boston Brewin Coffee
The CEO and founder of Boston Brewin organic coffee.
Established in 2011
My motivation to get into the coffee industry to sell coffee. It, gave me the able to connect with many people with a product that is virtually Recession Proof drank by more the half the world. My thought was to use this resource to help others. This is the pure reason for choosing to put on the back of my coffee sleeves...
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
With in the first 3 months of being open, I had enough customers to raise $400 dollars for two local foster children, in one week, so that they didn't wake up on Christmas with nothin under the tree. I couldn't get it out of my mind. The most important thing to understand here was all I could do was tell people what I was trying to make happen. I gave my time and my passion for telling everyone. That's all I had to give. People, that came to the coffee shop that could, gave their time, through their money they gained through doing what they do for a living. Time was spent on both ends and we together made this happen. It wasn't something I did or should be praised for...it wasn't what I was looking for. I was looking to accomplish making lives better with the help of others who could help.
I took every opportunity to help others with the connections I made with the customers....and now friends.
There is now enough information about the good that was created in the past 10 years I dedicate of my life to telling people about projects I was passionate about and making them happen with and through like minded people. My only education is being in Special Ed from first grade to 10th grade and dropping out of school because my 10th grade math teacher told me to in front of all my classmates. Because of what I was able to accomplish with a 97 square foot hole in the wall. I was to be a guest speaker at Harvard Business and Suffolk University international business. A big difference from my past reality. As you can imagine, " Good Will Hunting" is one of my favorite movies.
The reason for this website is continue on with doing good with the connections that have been made. To continue to help people, help others.
A few years ago, I learned that there's over 600 million people in the world that don't have access to clean water. "Insane" was my first thought! 2nd was "how can this be possible?" And 3rd, "how do we fix problem with the resources we have right now???"
So I've come up with a plan and now I'm telling everyone. We can do this.
I sold the retail location and In the past two and a half years I have been creating the necessary Partnerships with like mind people to be apart of this project. I was introduced to Olawale Rotimi Opeyemi by Professor Elliott at Suffolk University. Ola, is a man on a mission to help others through connections "just like myself." We have grown to become brothers from completely different mothers. Ola has been working on fixing problems and has been apart bringing employment to thousands of people without any financial resources at all.
Because of his work, leaders in the developing world, are asking him to work with them and show them how make this work for them. Ola, (JR Farms Africa) and myself ( Boston Brewin) together in partnership with over 4,000 coffee farmers in the rural jungles of Rwanda, that only grow, the finest organically shade-grown coffee possible. Each coffee farmer takes pride in knowing their farms are the best. We have partnered with a Roastery, funded entirely by the very first predominantly woman run government in the world. 🇷🇼 Rwanda. This project was created to bring further empowerment to the women of Rwanda. This facility, is 80% owned and run by the women of Rwanda. These women are fully prepared and capable of roasting 30,000 pounds of coffee on a daily basis right now. This gives us the ability to produce enough coffee to fund a minimum of 365,000 people access to clean water in one year's time. UPS worldwide has partnered with us and prepared to airship the coffee directly to Boston. And the last leg of the journey of your coffee to your door, will be handled by the very first delivery system in this country. The United States Postal Service.
Now all we need to do to complete this wheel, is some kick-ass coffee drinkers who wanna drink some of the most amazing coffee in the world. Your partnership with us, will fuel this project to create the path for everyone on this planet to have access to clean water. So if you're down for a pound of coffee with 100% love in every cup, here's the opportunity to wake up to a cup of coffee that makes you responsible for changing lives, knowing that you, yourself, are drinking the end to the need for clean water for someone everyday with every sip. Love what you drink!
We will begin this project here in Boston, the birth place of America. Knowing that just a half of a percent/15,000 coffee drinkers here in the great city of BOSTON, could gives us the ability to build out one clean water well that will give 500 people access to clean water in just a minimum of four weeks time, absolutely free, we are asking every coffee drinker to partner with us.
There's no donation needed. This is not a charity. And this is definitely not about money. This is about coming together as coffee drinkers to end an unnecessary problem that every human being in the world agrees shouldn't exist. So, let's fix it together. A Sap!
We want is to inspire to the world. Show the world what it means be "Boston Strong." We are Bostonian's, and we are strong!!! A city built on educating the world, will soon be known for hydrating the world as well.
The Boston coffee drinking community, and this city that's already known for a good portion of the many firsts on this planet, will be the very first community to ever give the world, the biggest hug that will be felt or seen around the world and will help so many people.
The partnerships we've created are now ready and waiting on you.
So, are you ready to take a trip to Rwanda with me to give people a hug! Who's to down to drink to that! let's drink and make the world more merrier, because we can!
The only question that I have for you now is, "can I count on you??? Are you "DOWN FOR A POUND?"
